Of course, candy and other sweets of all varieties, due to its popularity as a gift and special treats, is still a form of "therapy" for many of us. Crystal Candy has its own history, though. Many people remember the details of this science lesson of their school years.

Science lesson revolves around the popular sweets include sugar molecular composition (12 carbon atoms, 22 hydrogen atoms and 11 oxygen atoms) and the heat affects it. It shows the science of saturated and super-saturated solution, creating seed crystals and the rate of crystal growth. When sugar is mixed with water, sugar has dissolved, and is defined as that went into solution. When so much sugar as possible was removed, the solution considered "saturated". In addition to high levels of heat allows more space for the sugar to dissolve, leading to the solution is "super-saturated". This is an unstable state. Crystallization occurs when sugar molecules begin to crystallize back into the body.

The only supplies needed to carry out this science lesson are pan, heat, spoon and scoop ... some of the same equipment needed to make Fudge and other candies. Although these other types of candy, crystallization is one thing, to protect against, batch fudge, crystallized which is considered a failure. The Rock Candy Crystal, crystallization is the goal. Science experiment is complete, and Candy is edible after seven days. Not surprisingly, this traditional science lessons is still popular today, and is performed by teachers in public and private school settings.

Crystal Candy is made by the crystallization process. Commercially it is candy from pouring hot saturated solution of pure cane sugar and water in large tanks. During cooling, more crystals are produced. This is a "harvest" package, and then went on the market. Crystal Candy comes in the form of strings, sticks, and free of crystals contained in the straw, swizzle sticks called. There are several flavors of sticks that can be used to mix and taste a cup of coffee. This is a very popular and unique.
